| How is Memory Care different from Assisted Living? |
|
| Memory Care is health care provided for elderly who have Alzheimer's, Vascular Dementia, Lewy Body's, Parkinson's, or other memory impairments. Memory Care provides a secured environment for residents who have the tendency to wander and provides significant monitoring for safety. These may be elderly who are unable to use a call light and/or make their needs known. Some of the services that are offered are medication management, bathing and dressing, grooming, assistance with eating, etc. Memory Care communities have a much higher staffing ratio than regular assisted living communities provide. Come visit the Ashford today and find out why we are the community of choice by all who visit. |
